God's timing is perfect. There is a whole plan laid out that we can't see from beginning to end. It's like a parade... from an aerial view you you can see it from beginning to end but when your sitting on the street watching it you only see one float at a time. We have to trust God. Remember He is Elohim. The same God that created the heavens & earth. I think the main reason people choose not to follow Christ is because they want to do whatever they want to do when they want to do it cause it says right here that God has planted eternity in their hearts. So speak the truth to people & let the Holy Spirit water that seed.

God's got this

Conviction
Just a little something to think about. If you don't feel convicted when you go to church... you're at the wrong church. I know that's hard to hear. Being convicted isn't particularly fun. It reminds us that we are not perfect and points out our flaws, however I don't know about you, but I prefer to not stay the same. I want to let God continue perfecting me until I draw my last breath. I don't want to be stale and luke warm and I don't want pride to take over or my complacency to allow me to drift from my perfect, loving and patient Savior. So as much as it's not fun, I like the conviction. Like pain it is unpleasant, but it notifies us that something is wrong, needs to be fixed, and needs a healing touch.

How to give it to the Lord
Do you keep trying to leave your problems at the feet of God, but some how without meaning to you keep picking your problems back up? Spend time with God. Read the word, pray & just sit quietly & wait to hear from the Lord. Only in drawing near to the Lord & spending time with Him will you learn how to leave your problems with Him & pick up his yoke because it is light.

Fear
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)
Are you feeling afraid, overwhelmed, or hopeless about something. Well good news those feelings are not from God and God does not want you to feel this way. What stomps out these feelings? Well... faith. And God's word says... So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17. So we need to look into God's word and find His promises for us. His word contains so many promises. Promises for every situation. When we read God's word and trust the fact that God does what He's says He is going to do and He does not lie; then our faith grows and our fear dies. Leave your fear at the Lord's feet. He is faithful and just to deal with it for you.

New Year
Ok so hear we are January 4th of 2011. It has been forever since I last posted and a lot has happened. I kind of got caught up in myself and the world for a little while there. I got complacent. I was lazy about reading my Bible, praying and just making time for God in general. When I read a dear friend and sister in Christ's blog today it encouraged me to update mine.
